Leeds City Council’s Arts, Events & Venues team programmes and manages a wide range of the city’s main cultural venues and events: the historic and iconic Leeds Town Hall (currently closed for refurbishment); Carriageworks Theatre – home of Carriageworks Young Theatre Makers and Leeds Community Arts Network (LCAN); Millennium Square which hosts a star-studded Summer Series and Ice Cube at Christmas; Light Night Leeds, the UK’s largest annual arts and light festival; the internationally renowned Leeds International Film Festival (inc. Leeds Young Film and Leeds INDIs); Leeds International Concert Season, the largest local authority classical music programme outside London (inc. Sound Out Leeds, Evening Chamber, Piano and free lunchtime Organ and Chamber Series); Leeds International Beer Festival; The Christmas Experience and Skelescare at Lotherton and Breeze in Parks summer events presented by the Breeze team.
