Leeds School of Arts, Leeds Beckett University
For 170 years, Leeds School of Arts has been a place for performers, artists and collaborators who are passionate about creativity. We’re a community of more than 3,000 diverse creators, pushing the boundaries of fields such as performing arts, music and sound, and film.
We’re a school that encourages individuality, inspires creativity, and challenges uniformity. We strive to create a vibrant, ethical and inclusive working and learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion.
At the heart of our community is our brand-new state-of-the-art £80million building made up of bespoke spaces which allow experienced artists and educators to creatively teach and inspire. Outstanding specialist spaces include a 180-seat theatre, Blackbox theatre, 220-seat Dolby Atmos cinema and ensemble rooms. Spaces designed for learning techniques, creating and growing.
Industry collaboration and creative networks allow us to offer the most up to date, bespoke training. Work experience, performances, research and workshops within our community prepare students for a future in the Arts. Whether undergraduate, postgraduate, local, national or international students, our creative community inspires them to be their best.
A centre for creative exploration and growth, at Leeds School of Arts students learn, experiment and work within a bold creative community.
